2D Ultrasound

The standard in prenatal imaging, a 2D ultrasound offers black-and-white images that capture baby’s heartbeat, growth, and position. Flat two dimensional images will show baby’s skeletal and internal structures offering a perfect way to create that timeless first portrait. 2D images are used primarily for early or diagnostic scans.

3d Ultrasound

At Peek a Boo Premier, our 3D ultrasounds show all of baby’s amazing features including fingers, toes, noses, lips, and chubby cheeks, all in lifelike keepsake photos! 2D images are collected and converted to three dimensional images using our state-of-the-art ultrasound software programs.

3D ultrasounds at 20 – 27 weeks show a little skinnier baby with more of a triangular shaped face.
3D ultrasounds done between 27 – 33 weeks will show those chubby cheeks and fuller bodies due to baby developing fat and becoming larger.

2D images are used primarily for early or medical scans, 3D images can also be done any time during pregnancy.

4D Ultrasound

Our HD (High Definition), also known as HD Live ultrasounds are the most advanced fetal imaging available today! You may see this listed other places as “5 D”, but there is no fifth dimension of imagery. Using the term 5D is referring to the same High Definition software used our machine, using 2D images put together to show a skin tone appearance while smoothing textures and adding depth for advanced realistic images.

Images in HD will appear clearer than any other image available if Mom is very hydrated!

High definition images can be done during any week of pregnancy!
